Filming the Tattoo artist

We went to interview a tattoo artist where we asked him questions about his career, and filmed where he worked. We also got to film the equipment he used to do the tattoos.

These are tattoos that the walls where covered in, in the tattoo shop.

These are the equipment he uses. The needles attach to these so he can do the tattoo.

These are all the inks he has.

This is the chair he does the tattoos in.

This is another piece of equipment he uses.

Whilst there, in his interview he explained what the inks are and how they are used, so we filmed them to be a cutaway in his interview.

This is Niall asking the Tattoo artist our questions.

Whilst we were filming the tattoo artist, we were trying to get the best mis-en-scene, so we had him infront of a wall of tattoo designs on the wall, as in our initial sketch we had the tattoo chair in shot, but this wasnt possible on the day. When it came to capturing the footage, we noticed a door frame in the side of the shot, that we couldnt se whilst filming juse to the view finder on the camera. Whilst editing we will have to zoom in a little bit to cut it out, but it might affect the quality to much.
